The team comprising of Kamal Haasan, Shankar, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Rakul Preet Singh, and director Shankar convened a press conference in Hyderabad today as a part of the promotional activities for “Bharateeyudu 2” (Indian 2).

Suresh Babu, the distributor of the film, commended Kamal Haasan for his pioneering efforts in expanding the horizons of Indian cinema.

Rakul Preet Singh conveyed her delight in being included in the “Bharateeyudu” franchise. Siddharth said Kamal Haasan is his guru. He expressed how the original “Bharateeyudu” had a significant impact on him and described the sequel as a constantly evolving “anti-virus software”.

Director Shankar stated that the widespread corruption reminded him of Senapathy’s persona and the narrative he created struck a chord with Kamal Haasan.

Kamal Haasan emphasized the importance of his Telugu films, particularly “Maro Charitra,” “Swathi Muthyam,” and “Sagara Sangamam,” while discussing his cinematic journey.

Kamal Haasan implored the media to exercise responsibility in their reporting and encouraged them to magnify the film’s message regarding social justice.
