Renowned filmmaker Shankar and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan are creating a frenzy with their forthcoming film “Indian 2”. The Telugu version is titled “Bharateeyudu 2.”
Shankar is making every effort to ensure that “Bharateeyudu 2” lives up to the grandeur of its precursor “Bharateeyudu” (1996), whereas Kamal Haasan is preparing to deliver a thunderous performance as the tenacious freedom fighter Senapathi, who is engaged in a struggle against the pervasive menace of corruption.
The producers said the the film will be theatrically released in a grand fashion in June 2024.
Kamal Haasan was depicted on the release poster as Senapathi, wearing traditional white attire consisting of a dhoti and kurta. This is significant because Kamal is engaged in a struggle against corruption, and the poster represents him as pristine and pure as snow. The poster effectively conveyed the message of Zero Tolerance.
The film eatures an ensemble cast of notable figures, such as S. J. Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Rakul Preet Singh.
Lyca Productions, led by Subaskaran Allirajah, and Red Giant Movies are the collaborative producers.
