Nutan Naidu, who has been facing charges of tonsuring the head of a Dalit youth, was arrested by Udipi police in Karnataka while he was spotted in the city. Vizag police had sent a lookout notice for Nutan Naidu who has been in absconding.
Nutan Naidu shot to fame as a Bigg Boss contestant and recently directed a web film named ‘Parannageevi’. He is also said to have joined the top management of a news channel recently.
The CCTV footage in his Vizag residence clearly showed his wife tortured a Dalit youth named Srikanth and tonsured his head. Police had arrested the seven members involved in the case. Nutan Naidu has been arrested now. He will be brought to Vizag shortly.
