The Bharatiya Janata Party is wooing Dil Raju, Tollywood’s leading producer. On Monday (February 26), a state BJP leader met with Dil Raju and held discussions with him.
Dil Raju also maintains good relationships with the BJP’s national leadership including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The rumour is that he may be given the Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat in the upcoming parliamentary elections. He is from the same region.
Previously, he was close to KCR’s BRS party, but in recent years, he has shown a preference for the BJP. Furthermore, the BJP is strong in Nizamabad and Adilabad districts. The party also won significant assembly seats in these districts in the most recent Telangana assembly elections.
