Chakravarthy Ramachandra, who has worked closely with ‘YNOT Studios’ producer S. Sashikanth, has formed his own production firm. This new production company is called Night Shift Studios. The first film under this banner, named ‘Bramayugam,’ stars veteran actor Mammootty in the lead role.
The film, written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, was launched today. It’s a horror thriller.
“I am overjoyed to be able to direct the legendary Mammookka.’Bramayugam’ is a rooted story set in Kerala’s dark ages, and I am grateful for the producers’ support in stretching the boundaries of making this into an immersive film experience. I hope it will be a treat for Mammookka fans and genre fans all over the world,” stated the filmmaker.
“We are honoured and thrilled to have the legendary Mammookka in our inaugural production,” producers Chakravarthy Ramachandra said. “Mammookka’s unrivaled image is destined to bring to life what promises to be a fantastic cinematic experience.”
‘Bramayugam’ is being shot in Kochi and Ottapalam on a huge scale. The film will be released simultaneously in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
