Celebrities are rushing to get vaccinated

Vacination

When the government of India had announced its vaccination drive early this year, Telugu film celebrities have not shown much interest to get vaccinated. Except for a couple of celebrities like Nagarjuna, the majority of the stars, directors, producers, and technicians remained aloof to the situation.

Now, all celebrities who have crossed the eligibility age of 45 years are making a beeline to hospitals and clinics to get a jab.

Unlike in the first wave, the second wave of COVID-19 has reached all production offices and teams. Almost all movie units have team members contracting coronavirus, forcing the stars and filmmakers to go in self-isolation or get quarantined.

Four prominent directors (who are in the top league) got their first jab of the COVID vaccine today. Other senior actors including two big stars got vaccinated the other day.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is also running a vaccination drive under CCC (Corona Crisis Charity) initiative at his blood bank premises in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.
