Chiranjeevi to do a Pathala Bhairavi-type film!

Imagine Chiranjeevi in a folklore film with fantasy elements! It’s now very much on the cards. This has been suggested at today’s ‘Mahanati Felicitation Meet’ by the Megastar himself.

Chiru once told Ashwini Dutt (of Vyjayanthi Movies) that he would like to do a folklore cinema. And Nag Ashwin then came up with the idea of a film set in the context of time machine (time travel!). It’s understood that Nag Ashwin will evolute the basic idea into a full-fledged story. And the project should take a solid shape in 1 to 1.5 years from now. It will be in the mold of a ‘Pathala Bhairavi’.  

As for ‘Mahanati’, Chiru has totally loved it. He gave a pat on the back of the director, and its producers Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt at his residence. “It was emotionally overwhelming to watch the biopic. Savitri garu is my all-time favourite actress. I appreciate the makers for bringing her back to life through this film,” the ‘Sye Raa’ actor said.  

It’s a lucky coincidence that the biopic was released (on May 9) on the same day as ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari’, the film in Chiru-Vyjayanthi Movies combo.
