Venkatesh’s performance in the recently released ‘Narappa’ has come in much praise from critics and audiences. It ranks among the best performances in his career.
Megastar Chiranjeevi is also bowled over by Venkatesh’s effort to play this challenging role.
He sent an audio clip to Venkatesh lauding his performance. Venkatesh shared the audio clip on social media and thanked Chiranjeevi for his appreciation.
Chiranjeevi said that the film is one of the best in his career. “When I watched the film, I saw Narappa, the character, not you. I found a new Venkatesh. You sunk the character in you and played it with deep understanding, Venky. The actor in you always strives for something new. Narappa is the best example for this,” Chiranjeevi appreciated.
Venkatesh said he was overwhelmed and humbled.
Directed by Sreekanth Addala, ‘Narappa’ is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film skipped theatrical release. It is an official remake of the Tamil movie ‘Asuran’.
