There were rumors that Nandamuri Balakrishna plays Sreeleela’s father in “Bhagavanth Kesari,” but Telugucinema.com revealed long ago that he is actually her uncle in the film.
It was officially announced in the first song of “Bhagavanth Kesari” promo. Sreeleela declares in the song that her chicha (uncle) has arrived and that the band should turn up the volume.
The film, directed by Anil Ravipudi, is about the relationship between an uncle and his niece. The film is set in Telangana, against the backdrop of a tribal area. Balakrishna fights for the rights of tribals.
The song was composed by S Thaman. The full song will be released on September 1st.
The film is produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi, with Kajal Aggarwal starring opposite Balakrishna.
