Crucial period for Tollywood: 3 months, 6 big releases

The Telugu film industry has been witnessing many problems owing to the pandemic period. Many big-ticket movies have been stuck in cans for nearly two years. The producers are under financial stress, and the top actors are in confusion about their new movie plans. So, the industry together has decided to release all these biggies within a gap of three or four months.

Starting from March, all these biggies would hit the theaters. March, April, May, and June will see the flurry of movies, which have been waiting for a release for more than two years. 

Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Bheemla Nayak’ is scheduled for release on February 25. However, the latest reports the film has been postponed to April. The exact date for this film will be announced shortly. On the other hand, Prabhas’s ‘Radhe Shyam’ is looking at the March 11th release. 

Rajamouli’s “RRR” is likely to release on March 25th. “KGF 2” will release on April 14th.

“Acharya” is aiming for the April end release. The release of Mahesh Babu’s “Sarkaru Vaari Paata” depends on how fast it completes the shooting part. The shooting resumed today. “F3” will schedule its date when the other biggies finalize the dates.

March – Radhe Shyam (March 11), RRR (March 25)

April – Bheemla Nayak (April 1), KGF (April 14), Acharya (April 29)

May – F3, Sarkaru Vaari Paata
