Deewana postponed by a day, premieres pushed

“Deewana,” a youthful film among this weekend releases, has been postponed by a day. The film had generated considerable attention, and the makers even organized premiere screenings in select locations two days ago ahead of its planned June 19 release.
However, the film reportedly ran into a censor-related issue at the last minute, forcing the team to reschedule its theatrical release.
As a result, “Deewana” will now hit theaters on June 20. The makers, however, have decided to go ahead with paid premiere shows on the evening of June 19.
The film is a romantic drama centered on unrequited love and stars Harshith Reddy, who recently appeared in “Shubham.” Smeha Manimegalai plays the female lead.
Directed by Sreekanth Sangishetty, the film is being distributed by Geetha Arts. Vasudev Koppineni and Sridevi Karyampudi are producing the project.
