Dhanush, Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela’s film titled OM

The makers of Dhanush’s 55th film have officially revealed its title as “OM.” Along with the title announcement, they released a striking promo called “OM First Strike,” offering a glimpse into an intense action drama set amid dense forests, armed conflict and rebellion.

Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy of “Amaran” fame, the film stars Dhanush, Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela in lead roles, while Mammootty plays a pivotal character.

The teaser opens with sweeping visuals of mountains, forests and a temple town before shifting to a tense confrontation in a rain-soaked jungle. The visuals suggest that the story may revolve around red sanders smuggling and the conflicts surrounding it, drawing comparisons to the backdrop of Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa.”

“OM” is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 16, 2026. Sai Abhyankkar is composing the music.
