Dhurandhar 2 premieres: RGV’s massive praise raises eyebrows

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is once again grabbing attention with his strong praise for Aditya Dhar’s upcoming film “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” aka “Dhurandhar 2.”

Ever since Dhurandhar became a sensational blockbuster, RGV has been vocal about his admiration for Aditya Dhar. With the sequel set for premieres today, he has taken his praise to another level.

RGV claimed that a “new cinematic order” will be established after the film’s release. He went on to compare Dhurandhar: The Revenge with the iconic Sholay, stating that it is “100 times more magnificent” than the classic starring Amitabh Bachchan.

“It will be a SHOLAY x 100 level magnificence and is bound to make all the greatest films made so far, starting from Mughal-e-Azam, look like TV serials,” he remarked. He also added that even global filmmakers like Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolan should watch the film immediately.

However, many feel that RGV is going overboard with his statements. Social media users have been debating whether such comparisons are justified even before the film’s release.

That said, RGV is known for his uninhibited praise when he genuinely likes a film. In the past, he has showered similar appreciation on movies like Baahubali, Arjun Reddy, and KGF.
