Director Anil Ravipudi has been working on finalizing the main cast for his next film (#ChiruAnil) featuring megastar Chiranjeevi. Casting for the female lead and other key roles is currently underway so that filming can begin next month or in June.
A film featuring the combination of megastar Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi was officially launched on Ugadi, and the makers have announced that it will hit theaters during the Sankranthi festival in 2026. That means Anil Ravipudi has about seven months to complete the shoot and prepare it for release.
Meanwhile, Anil Ravipudi’s team reportedly approached Nayanthara, but they were shocked by the remuneration she quoted. After the astronomical figure she demanded, Ravipudi is now in talks with Aditi Rao Hydari and others. They are looking for an actress who suits Chiranjeevi’s age and whose remuneration falls within the range of Rs 2 to 3 crore. Nayanthara and Chiranjeevi previously worked together in “Sye Raa” and “Godfather.”
ChiruAnil, as the film is currently being referred to, is being produced by Shine Screens in association with Sushmita’s Goldbox Entertainment.
