Dil Raju appointed as Telangana FDC chairman

Senior producer Dil Raju, alias V. Venkata Ramana Reddy, has been appointed as the chairperson for the Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC).

Dil Raju, originally from Nizamabad, began his career in the Telugu film industry as a distributor in 1990. He gained popularity as a producer with the film “Dil” (2003), and since then, he has become known as Dil Raju.

Having produced more than 55 films and distributed hundreds, he is one of the most influential personalities in the Telugu film industry. His name has been in the running for this post since the Congress party came into power. Eventually, the government made his appointment official.

Dil Raju will be serving as FDC chairman for two years.
