Dil Raju confirms only Akshay Kumar film

Amid reports claiming that producer Dil Raju would be teaming up with Salman Khan for a Bollywood film directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Sri Venkateswara Creations issued an official clarification stating that the news is false. Dil Raju further confirmed that his production house is currently involved in only one Bollywood project: a film starring Akshay Kumar, directed by Anees Bazmee.

The statement reads: “In light of recent rumours and ongoing speculation surrounding the upcoming projects of Producer Dil Raju and Sri Venkateswara Creations, we wish to clarify that these reports are entirely baseless and blown out of proportion. Several outdated speculations are being linked to current developments, which is inaccurate.

We are presently developing a project with Akshay Kumar, directed by Anees Bazmee. The film is currently in the pre-production stage, and we will share official details in due course. We humbly request media members to refrain from drawing conclusions or circulating speculative information without confirmation from our end.”

Akshay Kumar’s film is reportedly the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster “Sankranthiki Vasthunnam,” produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Dil Raju earlier produced two Bollywood remakes: HIT and Jersey, both of which failed at the box office. He is now testing his luck again with Akshay Kumar’s film.
