Dil Raju gets 18.5 Cr from Overseas deal
Producer Dil Raju is on a roll. He is producing five movies right now. All these movies are at various stages of production but he has already sold off the overseas rights of these movies for a good price. He sold the movies as bouquet (means all movies as a unit) to Blue Sky, the leading overseas distributor for Rs 18.50 Cr plus profit share.
The bouquet of movies is – Allu Arjun – Harish Shankar’s ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’, Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Fida’, Nani starrer ‘Nenu Local’, Sharwanand starrer ‘Satamanam Bhavati’ and small movie tilted ‘Vellipomake’. All these have fetched him Rs 18.50 Cr for overseas market and additionally he will also get share in profits if these movies become blockbusters.
It is actually a win-win model for both Blue Sky and producer Dil Raju.
