Producer Dil Raju is produc ing a couple of big projects that are to be released in multiple languages simultaneously and some of them are in progress. However, all film shootings should be stopped from August 1st as per the decision taken by the Active Telugu Film Producers Guild and Telugu Film Chamber.
Against this backdrop, objections were raised about Dil Raju’s production ‘Vaarasudu’ commencing its shoot. The film starring Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay begins its new shooting schedule in Vishakapatnam tomorrow.
Clarifying this matter, Dil Raju said, “Vaarasaudu is a Tamil film. We are producing it by the name ‘Varisu’ in Tamil. It is not a straight Telugu film. We have only stopped the shootings of Telugu film.”
But when towards the release of the film, the makers will publicize it as Vijay’s ‘first Telugu film’. For now, the shooting of the film is going as it is a Tamil film.
