Vishwaksen was recently scored a massive flop with “Laila” and landed his career in deep trouble. This was Viswaksen’s third consecutive flop. “Laila” in particular made losses, with the producer losing nearly Rs 6 crore on the project.
Before the release of “Laila,” Vishwaksen used to talk about making second parts to every movie, but all those movies bombed at the box office. He even claimed to make a sequel to “Laila,” which grossed just Rs 3 crore.
Arrogance was the main reason for many of his troubles.
Buzz is that his well-wishers told him to stop arrogant statements and publicity gimmicks and focus on the quality of his movies. He realized that his market would completely collapse if his next film, “Funky,” doesn’t become a hit.
Anudeep KV, the director of “Jathi Ratnalu,” is helming Funky, a new film that debuted in December of last year. Anudeep, too, needs to score a hit because his previous film, “Prince,” was a flop. Now, both Vishwaksen and Anudeep shift focus on their film.
