Divyabharathi levels allegations against a Telugu director

Tamil actress Divyabharathi, who was recently seen with GV Prakash Kumar in Kingston, has made serious allegations against a Telugu director. She accused him of repeatedly passing lewd comments and behaving disrespectfully toward her.
She also shared a screenshot of the director’s social media post where he referred to her as “Chilaka” and labelled her a “second-lead range” actress. Divyabharathi is part of the long-delayed Sudigali Sudheer starrer G.O.A.T. The film’s producers have reportedly removed director Naressh K Lee from the project and are now completing the film on their own.
Divyabharathi said she never faced such issues in Tamil cinema, but this particular director “crossed lines.”
She wrote, “For those claiming I ‘always have issues’ with teams, facts matter. I’ve worked with the same cast and crew multiple times in Tamil without a single conflict. Only this one director behaved inappropriately. He made it public, so I have every right to respond. If you still choose to defend that behaviour, that’s your choice. I’m not losing sleep over it. If anyone speaks poorly about me, I genuinely wish them well.”
