The much-hyped first song from ‘RRR’ has not clicked big time as expected. When it was released, everyone thought it is an instant chartbuster. Composed by maestro MM Keeravani, the song seemed to become a massive hit. The tune is catchy. And it was promoted aggressively.
But ten days after the release of the song, the views for the Telugu version of ‘Dosti’ are hovering around 14 million.
The Hindi version of the song sung by Amit Trivedi has garnered 11 million views. Together they have got 25 million views, which can be termed as impressive.
However, the Tamil version (Natpu) sung by Anirudh has garnered just 4 million songs. The Kannada and Malayalam versions have received 1 million views each. So far, the Telugu and Hindi versions have gained some traction, but the other versions failed to click.
For an epic movie of this proportion, the views are considerably less.
‘RRR’ features NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Oliva Morris in the lead roles. The film is directed by India’s number one filmmaker SS Rajamouli. DVV Danayya is composing the music. ‘RRR’ is slated to hit the screens on October 13, 2021.
