“Double iSmart” marked the reunion of actor Ram Pothineni and director Puri Jagannadh. Their last collaboration, “iSmart Shankar,” achieved resounding success, and the sequel of the film is titled “Double iSmart.” The trailer was unveiled on Sunday at a grand event in Vizag, attended by a massive gathering.
During his speech at the event, Ram stated, “In December 2018, Puri met me in Goa. The discussion resulted in the development of the character “iSmart Shankar. ‘Double ISMART’ is a fusion of a character with intense mental mass eleements and a kick-ass script. The outcome was a script that challenged conventional limits.”
“Creating a commercial film is a challenging task, and the rate of success is notoriously low.However, when a commercial film successfully achieves its objective, the resulting thrill is unmatched, elevating the theatrical experience to a magnificent celebration. I am certain that this film will accomplish that,” he appended.
The film “Double iSmart” is scheduled to be released in cinemas on August 15th.
