Doubts arise over the release of ‘The Raja Saab’ again?

Prabhas’s upcoming film “The Raja Saab” has faced several postponements. Initially planned for release in April 2024, it was later pushed to summer 2025, then to December 5, 2025, and finally rescheduled for January 9, 2026.

With the Sankranthi 2026 slot as its new target, the makers had unveiled a teaser and later a trailer to build momentum. A song release was also planned but has since been put on hold, leading to speculation about the film’s progress.

The delay in new updates has fueled doubts among fans, with many wondering if the film might face yet another postponement. However, sources close to the production confirm that the horror-comedy will indeed arrive in theaters on January 9, 2026, as planned. The team is said to be working tirelessly to complete the shoot and post-production.

“The Raja Saab” is reportedly heavy on visual effects, with multiple VFX studios handling different segments. Each studio has been given a strict deadline to deliver the final output by the end of December. As of now, there are no plans for another delay.

Directed by Maruthi, the film stars Prabhas alongside Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. Music is composed by Thaman, and the film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner.
