Media reports say Deepika Padukone’s name has appeared in WhatsApp chats related to drugs. A news channel reported that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) found that she had chatted with her manager Karishma allegedly asking her to bring drugs.
The alleged WhatsApp chats between Deepika Padukone and her manager Karishma have put the actress in a bad light and Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans and the BJP followers on social media have started attacking the actress’s duplicity.
In this background, Deepika Padukone is expected to release a statement soon.

So far, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Deepika’s names have been dragged into this drug case. NCB is a probing the drugs angle in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and arrested his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty in this case.
Deepika Padukone has been signed to play opposite Prabhas in his next film to be directed by Nag Ashwin.
