Dude Trailer: Pradeep Ranganathan back in his zone
Pradeep Ranganathan has built a strong following among Telugu youth with his dubbed hits “Love Today” and “Return of the Dragon.” His latest outing, Dude, is being produced by leading Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers.
The film appears to follow the familiar formula seen in “Return of the Dragon”: Pradeep dating a vibrant girl, only for a past love story to surface later. In “Dragon,” Kayadu Lohar and Anupama Parameswaran played those roles, while in “Dude,” Mamitha Baiju and Neha Shetty take on similar parts.
The trailer opens with Pradeep reminiscing about his single life before introducing his relationship with Mamitha Baiju, followed by the revelation of Neha Shetty’s character and a marriage twist. It concludes on an intriguing note with a song.
While the trailer doesn’t reveal much about the plot and isn’t as striking as Love Today, it promises plenty of entertaining moments for its target audience. Directed by Keerthiswaran with music by Sai Abhyankkar, “Dude” is slated for release on October 17.
