Exclusive: This is why Samantha’s talk show ends abruptly
The much-hyped Samantha’s talk show ‘Sam Jam’ ends. Aha OTT platform planned the talk show as 10 episodes for the first season and has paid Rs 1.5 crore as remuneration to Samantha with 15 lakhs to each episode.
But after eight episodes, the talk show has been ended. Why?
The original plan was to end the season with Prabhas as the main guest. But even before completing the agreed 10 episodes, the talk show is called off. It is unlikely that the show will be revived for another season.
Reliable sources have informed that the platform has felt that the show is not helping them much as well as it has become tough for them to bring in guests to the show. Prominent stars like Chiranjeevi, Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Chiranjeevi, and Naga Chaitanya graced the show.
Samantha is now signing new films. She has already signed Gunasekhar’s ‘Shaakuntalam’, is shooting for a Tamil movie being directed by Vignesh Shivan.
