Former CM Jagan accuses Balakrishna of attending assembly drunk

A fresh political controversy has erupted after former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy made serious allegations against actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Balakrishna recently sparked debate with his comments about Jagan and also mentioned megastar Chiranjeevi while recalling an incident related to the film ticket pricing issue. Chiranjeevi had quickly responded at the time, condemning Balakrishna’s remarks and clarifying the facts surrounding the meeting between film industry representatives and Jagan.

Now, responding to questions from reporters about Balakrishna’s Assembly comments and Pawan Kalyan’s silence on the issue, Jagan hit back sharply.

He alleged that Balakrishna attended the Assembly session under the influence of alcohol and questioned his mental stability.

Jagan said, “Balakrishna came to the Assembly drunk. How can someone attend the House like that? Allowing him to speak itself was a mistake by the Speaker. His mental state was evident from the way he spoke — he should question his own psychological health before making such remarks.”
