Bollywood star Ranveer Singh no longer faces a non-cooperation directive from FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees). The industry body, which had earlier announced action against the actor, has now withdrawn the directive.
The development comes after Ranveer Singh reportedly sent a legal notice in response to FWICE’s decision.
Addressing the media in Mumbai on Wednesday, FWICE President B. N. Tiwari stated that the organization’s legal team would respond to the notice sent by the actor. He also announced that the previously imposed non-cooperation directive was being withdrawn with immediate effect.
With the issue now resolved, Ranveer Singh is free to move ahead with his upcoming projects.
The controversy reportedly stemmed from a dispute surrounding “Don 3”. Producer-actor Farhan Akhtar is said to have accused Ranveer Singh of backing away from the project after initially agreeing to it, resulting in substantial pre-production losses.
However, according to reports, Ranveer Singh maintained that the project had been delayed for several months and that there was uncertainty regarding its timeline. He is believed to have lost interest in the film due to these developments.
