After months of uncertainty and repeated delays, Thalapathy Vijay’s “Jana Nayagan” has finally crossed all legal and censor hurdles.

The film has completed its censor formalities and has been awarded an ‘A’ certificate. It has a runtime of 183 minutes.

Vijay had originally planned “Jana Nayagan” as his farewell film before making a full-fledged entry into politics. The makers initially targeted a Sankranthi 2026 release, but legal issues and censor-related hurdles forced them to postpone the film indefinitely.

In the meantime, the political landscape changed dramatically. Elections were held, the results were declared, and Vijay went on to become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, creating history in his political journey.

Now, his fans will finally get the opportunity to watch what is expected to be his last film as an actor.

Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, “Jana Nayagan” is now gearing up for its theatrical release. The makers are expected to announce the release date shortly.
