The mystery behind Mahesh Babu’s absence from the Ganesh festival celebrations at home has finally been cleared. Namrata Shirodkar recently shared festive pictures with family, mentioning how much they missed him.

Now, Priyanka Chopra’s latest update has given fans the answer.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Priyanka shared photos of her flight to Kenya and even posted a quirky snap of spotting Kenyan Chevda, a popular Indian snack available in East Africa. With this, she confirmed that the much-awaited schedule of GlobeTrotter (working title) has officially kicked off in East Africa.

The film, directed by SS Rajamouli, pairs Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra for the first time. The team is expected to shoot in one of Kenya’s national parks, capturing grand adventure sequences amidst the country’s rich wildlife.

Rajamouli had initially planned to begin filming last month, but political unrest in Kenya forced a delay. Now, with the unit moving ahead, expectations are sky-high.

The director has also promised to unveil the official title and a special glimpse showcasing the film’s scale in November.
