Godari Gattupaina locks May 8 release

Sumanth Prabhas, who impressed with his debut “Memu Famous,” is gearing up for his next film “Godari Gattupaina.” After building buzz with its songs and promotions, the makers have now officially locked the release date.

Co-starring Nidhi Pradeep, the film will hit theatres on May 8, strategically timed during the summer holiday season. With no major big-ticket releases lined up in the first half of May, the team is banking on this window to attract audiences.

The release-date poster adds intrigue: Nidhi appears in a white bridal gown with a tense, conflicted expression. On one side stands Sumanth Prabhas, looking away thoughtfully, while on the other, Jagapathi Babu appears serious, hinting at an emotional triangle.

Directed by debutant Subash Chandra and produced by Red Puppet Productions, “Godari Gattupaina” is described as a rustic, rooted love story with strong emotional elements.
