Yash Puri, known for his performances in web film Alanti Sitralu, and Samantha starrer Shaakuntalam, has acted in “Happy Ending” as the lead hero. This coming-of-age story, directed by Kowshik Bheemidi, is set for release on Feb 2nd. Apoorva Rao, a Telugu girl, acted alongside Yash Puri.

“I am from Ongole, but my family moved to Gujarat since my father works at Reliance Oil Industries. I grew up there before relocating to Kuwait for a couple of years. After returning to India, I graduated and worked for a while, but I was dissatisfied with my job. I chose to pursue acting a few years ago and enrolled at Dadasaheb Phalke Film School. I’d auditioned for several films but had received no offers. But, fortunately, I was cast in this Happy Ending,” she remarked.

Apoorva Rao appreciated her lead actor, Yash, for his politeness and friendliness.

“I play a female who understands and encourages such a boy, similar to Kamalini Mukherjee’s role in ‘Anand.’ In the film, I portray a yoga instructor who is both intellectually strong and kind,” Apoorva Rao said. “It’s exciting to play such an important role in my debut film as a heroine.”

“Happy Ending is a delightful movie to enjoy with friends and family in the theatre. It’s full of humor and fun, with a good laugh every ten minutes,” Apoorva Rao said.
