The Telangana government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is facing criticism for its flip-flop approach on film permissions and ticket price hikes. The differing decisions taken for different films have already triggered controversy, with fans of several star heroes openly questioning the government’s stance.

Former minister and BRS leader Harish Rao has now launched a sharp attack on the Revanth Reddy government.

He alleged that the government is acting with a sense of vendetta against film stars who are not seen as favourable to the Chief Minister and his administration. Harish Rao further claimed that permission for premiere shows of Prabhas-starrer “The Raja Saab” was deliberately delayed, linking it to favourable comments made by the actor’s aunt towards the BRS.

“First Allu Arjun, now Prabhas. Are you treating the film industry as an industry, or turning it into a battleground to settle political scores?” Harish Rao questioned.

He pointed out that while one film was denied screening permissions until midnight, another received instant approvals and what he termed as “royal treatment.” Raising serious allegations, he added, “Who is the unseen force deciding ticket prices? We will soon expose the secrets behind these commissions.”
