Shruti Haasan has acted in many remakes. She will be seen in ‘Katamarayudu’, which is remake of Tamil, hit ‘Veeram’. When asked about whether she would be enacting the same role that the Tamil actress did, she said no.

“Katamarayudu is not exact remake. It has been modified by the director Dolly. My character is also little bit different. And I never follow the original actresses when I offered of doing remakes. I have my own style of acting and I do in that way,” she explained.

In her career, she is part of many remakes. She reprised the role that was originally done by Sonakshi Sinha in the Telugu remake of ‘Dabang’ successfully. She also did ‘ Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ in Hindi, which was remake of Telugu blockbuster ‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’. She also reprised the roles that were done by Shriya and Ashima Bhalla for the Hindi version of ‘Ramana’/’Tagore’.
