Anupama Parameswaran is showcasing a new dimension of her acting in Kishkindhapuri, which is set for release next week. The trailer, released recently, revealed her in a ghostly avatar, surprising many.

Sharing her fondness for the genre, Anupama said, “I have always loved horror films. As a child, I used to secretly watch late-night horror movies. After my parents went to sleep, I would tune into HBO or Star Movies, especially their Friday midnight horror slots, switching off all the lights and watching in the dark.”

The actress was last seen in the woman-centric drama Paradha, which failed to click at the box office. She is, however, confident about Kishkindhapuri and her role in it.

Directed by Koushik Pegallapati, the film features Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas as the male lead and is produced by Sahu Garapati under the Shine Screens banner. Music is composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj.
