If Peddi gets postponed, will Lenin get back to its date?

Producer Naga Vamsi has often faced criticism for frequently changing release dates of his films. Over time, this pattern has led to a perception that announcements are made without firm planning, only to be revised later. Even relatively small-scale films like “Mad Square” and “Funky” saw multiple postponements despite not requiring extensive production timelines.
Now, the same situation seems to be repeating with “Lenin,” starring Akhil Akkineni. The film has already faced delays, and the first song released from the project failed to generate significant buzz. Initially, there were strong indications that the film would move away from its planned May 1 release.
When the makers officially announced the postponement, they cited their decision to avoid a box office clash with “Peddi,” starring Ram Charan. The statement emphasized “utmost respect and regard,” pointing to the friendly equation between Akhil Akkineni and Ram Charan as the reason for stepping aside.
However, the situation has now taken an interesting turn.
Industry buzz suggests that “Peddi” itself may not arrive on April 30 as planned. With discussions around a possible shift to May or even June, a new question has emerged: will Lenin reclaim its original May 1 release date?
