Infertility treated with humor and hope: Vikranth

Upcoming actor Vikranth is ready to entertain audiences with “Santhana Prapthirasthu,” co-starring Chandini Chowdary. Directed by Sanjeev Reddy and produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy, the film is hitting theaters on November 14.
Vikranth shared that he left his software career in the U.S. to follow his passion for cinema. “I’ve always loved movies. After COVID, I decided to chase my dream seriously. My first film Spark didn’t go well, but that heelped me refine my craft,” he said.
On Santhana Prapthirasthu, he revealed, “The story deals with a hero who suffers from low sperm count. Initially, I wondered if such a subject would click with Telugu audiences, but the script was written very tastefully. There is no vulgarity, only genuine humor and emotion. It’s a film that all age groups can watch comfortably.”
Vikranth added that the film strikes a balance between fun and message.
“About 75% of the film is light-hearted, and the rest carries a strong emotional core. Infertility is a growing concern, and our film treats it sensitively. People facing this issue will walk out with hope,” he added.
