Prashanth Neel rose to prominence with his debut film, “Ugramm,” which was released in Kannada in 2014. But the “KGF” films catapulted him to stardom, and he is now India’s most popular filmmaker.
He recently completed filming on “Salaar,” which stars Prabhas in the title role. When the film was first launched two years ago, there were rumors that it was based on Neel’s first film, “Ugramm.” Prashanth Neel, on the other hand, slammed them.
However, the name “Ugramm” has suddenly become trending on social media, with claims that music director Ravi Basrur himself confirmed that “Salaar” is a remake of Neel’s first film.
However, according to our sources, Neel has reimagined the original story and completely reinvented it as a new subject. Although it is not a remake, there will undoubtedly be plot similarities.
“Salaar” will be released on December 22nd. Prabahs, Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu play the main roles.
