Jagapathi Babu approached for Prabhas's next?
Prabhas preferred Bollywood and Kollywood actors for ‘Saaho’. He intended to make an impact across India and create a steady market for his films in all the states in India. His gamble paid off as he achieved a Pan-India star image. However, he doesn’t want to lose the local Telugu market. ‘Saaho’ flopped in Telugu states. Hence, he is changing tracks for his next film ‘Jaanu’ (tentative title).
The period romantic drama will have Telugu actors in prime roles. It is said now Prabhas and his production team have approached Jagapathi Babu for the villain’s role.
Being directed by Radhakrishna Kumar of ‘Jil’, the film will resume its new shoot schedule in November. Pooja Hegde is the heroine. UV Creations is producing the movie that is slated for the 2020 summer release.
