Janhvi Kapoor hikes remuneration for next biggies!

Janhvi Kapoor is witnessing a surge in popularity, especially in the Telugu film industry. After making a successful debut opposite NTR in “Devara”, she is currently shooting for her second Telugu film, “Peddi,” alongside Ram Charan.

With her growing craze in the South, Janhvi is now in talks for several pan-Indian Telugu projects, including the much-hyped #AA22xA6. However, she is yet to officially sign on the dotted line.

Given the demand, Janhvi has reportedly increased her remuneration. She was paid Rs 5 crore for “Devara” and received a hike of Rs 1 crore for “Peddi.” Now, with her popularity rising, she is said to be quoting an even higher fee for upcoming projects.

Interestingly, while Janhvi is active in Bollywood, she currently doesn’t have any big-ticket Hindi films lined up. Her upcoming releases include “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari” with Varun Dhawan and “Param Sundari” with Sidharth Malhotra — both these male stars considered mid-range actors. She is yet to bag films opposite top A-list Hindi stars.

As a result, her focus seems to have shifted toward major Telugu productions, which offer her both a wider reach and handsome paycheck.

Meanwhile, her rumored project with Allu Arjun under director Atlee is still in the discussion stage and awaits final confirmation.
