Kajal Aggarwal, aka Kajal A Kitchlu, played the role of Goddess Parvathi Devi. She portrayed this role in “Kannappa,” a devotional film being made on a lavish scale by Manchu Vishnu.
The poster for her role as Parvathi Devi was unveiled today. “A dream role indeed! Happy to be starting 2025 on this divine note,” she wrote.
“Kannappa” tells the story of Lord Shiva’s greatest devotee, Kannappa, who was also a great warrior, with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar playing the role of Lord Shiva. And Kajal is Shiva’s wife, Parvathi Devi.
While Manchu Vishnu plays the titular character, popular actors like Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal appear in brief roles. The release date for “Kannappa” is April 25, 2025.
