Prabhas has taken an extended trip to Europe, so filming on “Kalki 2898AD” has come to a halt. The team paused for a brief period as well. Meanwhile, Nag Ashwin is preparing to film scenes with legendary actor Kamal Haasan.
In the film, Kamal Haasan portrays the antagonist. He just put his signature on the project, and his work will start in October. In the months of October and November, Nag Ashwin hopes to wrap up the scenes with Kamal Haasan that don’t involve Prabhas.
Word is that Kamal Haasan makes an appearance near the end of the first part. The second part will feature a larger role for him. It is common knowledge that “Kalki” will have a split installment.
Part one of “Kalki” is scheduled for release in 2024.
