The Bengaluru police were conducting an investigation into the murder of Renukaswamy. After interrogating nine individuals in relation to the murder of Renukaswamy, Darshan’s name was implicated, prompting the police to arrest him.
Renukaswamy is rumored to have been murdered due to his suspected harassment of actress Pavithra Gowda, who is believed to be in a live-in relationship with Darshan.
As per the police, Renukaswamy, who is originally from Chitradurga, was asked to come to Darshan’s farm house in Mysuru. It is believed that the accused subjected him to torture and subsequently murdered him. The body was then disposed of in a drain in Kamakshipalya two months ago.
