Keerthy Suresh dismisses remake rumors on Anil Ravipudi’s film

Actress Keerthy Suresh has put an end to speculation surrounding her upcoming Telugu film directed by Anil Ravipudi, clarifying that it is not a remake of any existing movie.

Keerthy is currently working on the multi-starrer featuring Venkatesh in the lead. The film also stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Krithi Shetty in key roles.

Rumors had been circulating on social media that the project was based on the 2024 Malayalam hit “Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil,” in which the two male leads play brothers-in-law.

However, when a follower asked her on social media whether the Telugu film was a remake of the Malayalam entertainer, Keerthy gave a clear and concise reply: “No it is not.”

With that response, the actress effectively put the remake rumors to rest. While the film’s story remains under wraps, Keerthy’s clarification confirms that Anil Ravipudi’s next is an original script.
