Naga Chaitanya has already begun work on his next film, a story about fishermen. The untitled film (#NC23), directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vaas, will be made on a large scale with a budget of Rs 60 crore.
Although Naga Chaitanya’s recent films did not set cash registers ringing, the producers are optimistic about the business because the story has the scale and scope to appeal to pan-Indian audiences. Furthermore, Chandoo Mondeti’s previous film “Karthikeya 2” was a box office success across the country.
The casting process has now begun. The female lead must be chosen. According to our sources, director Chandoo Mondeti prefers to cast Sai Pallavi because the film requires an actress who can pull it off with a strong performance. However, his team members believe Keerthy Suresh, who is also known for her performance abilities, would be a better choice.
Because Sai Pallavi previously worked with Naga Chaitanya in Sekhar Kammula’s “Love Story,” the team believes the pairing of Naga Chaitanya and Keerthy Suresh will be refreshing. These two actresses are being considered in any case.
