The sequel to blockbuster ‘KGF’ was scheduled to hit the screens on July 16, 2021. But the film has been postponed indefinitely owing to the second wave of COVID-19. The makers are now mulling over the new release date.
The latest buzz is that the makers are in favor of sticking to their sentiment date. The Christmas holiday period turned out to be lucky for the makers as the first part had the release during the same time three years ago.
Christmas 2021 release plan makes sense for the second part. By then, the theatrical business might come back to its past glory.
Starring Kannada star Yash as Rocky Bhai in the film, ‘KGF Chapter 2’ is directed by Prashanth Neel. The makers will make an official announcement about the new release date shortly. Director Prashanth Neel tweeted that the film will release very soon.
