Ravi Teja has popularity in the Hindi YouTube market. He is one of the few South Indian stars who command about Rs 20 crore from Hindi dubbing rights. The makers of Ravi Teja’s ‘Khiladi’ have plans to cash in on the current craze for South Indian films.
Since ‘Pushpa’ gained from Allu Arjun’s YouTube popularity in the Hindi market, they got confidence. ‘Khiladi’ will also be released in the Hindi market in theaters.
Interestingly, the film is co-produced by Pen India, one of the leading Bollywood production houses. So, the producers weighing in on the option of releasing the film in North India.
Directed by Ramesh Varma, ‘Khiladi’ is an action entertainer. It is slated for Feb 11, 2022 release. With no Bollywood releases for another two months, the makers of ‘Khiladi’ believe it will stand some chance.
