The film has been plagued by repeated delays and postponements, and the lack of a consistent promotional strategy has only worsened the situation. Although a song was released some time ago, it quickly faded from public memory due to poor follow-up.
With a string of recent flops, fans have been urging Vijay to take better control of his film choices and planning. Amid growing criticism, the team behind “Kingdom” seems to have finally taken note.
According to industry buzz, the makers are set to announce the film’s release date next week. Since the team of Pawan Kalyan’s “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” is unveiling a new release date tomorrow, Kingdom’s team reportedly plans to make their announcement the day after.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, “Kingdom” is a period crime drama featuring Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
