“Kuberaa” is the latest film from director Sekhar Kammula, who has taken considerable time to bring this project to life. Starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, the film has generated decent buzz, mainly due to its intriguing trailer.
Not much has been revealed about the story, except that it revolves around a wheeler-dealer (played by Nagarjuna) and a beggar (Dhanush), with a Rs 10,000 crore scam at the center of the conflict.
However, the film hasn’t created high pre-release hype, mainly due to the lack of catchy songs. As a result, its performance will rely heavily on word-of-mouth and last-minute bookings. Though advance bookings began earlier today, the trend so far has been just decent.
Sekhar Kammula and his team remain confident that the film will open strong and gain momentum on release day. “Kuberaa” is set to hit screens on June 20, 2025.
