Lockdown extended in Telangana until April 30

The lockdown period has been extended in Telangana state. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today announced that the government had decided to extend the lockdown in the state till April 30. The easing of lockdown will be done in a phased manner after 30th April, he said.

Large gatherings are prohibited. Cinema theaters, malls, and all shops will remain shut till the month-end.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also expected to announce the same nationwide shortly.
